You may know me as your former teacher (Jack Benny Junior High School, Waukegan), as your college instructor, (Columbia College) as a journalist, (contributing editor to Mortgage Broker Magazine, Mortgage Originator Magazine, or the money-saving $uper $aver) or as your mortgage banker. I entered the field of mortgage banking in 1996 because it gave me the opportunity to do several things I love: help others, teach, and solve problems. Mortgage banking allows me to others fulfill their dream of homeownership. It allows me to teach others, especially first time home buyers, how the mortgage process works and it allows me to unravel each loan’s unique issues with the help of my problem solving abilities. Since 1996, I have worked at a number of mortgage companies. Most recently, I served as a primary of Alliance Financing Mortgage Corporation (2000 – 2009) and as Branch Manager of 1st Advantage Mortgage (2010 – 2011). I accepted my current position as Division President of Diamond Residential Mortgage, Libertyville for three reasons: 1.) Their commitment to personalized customer service 2.) Their determination to ensuring that all loans close with integrity 3.) The great support and positive attitude that the company emanates through every employee Throughout my life people have always been of paramount importance to me, and I believe that Diamond shares my commitment to excellence in customer service and client respect. Early in my career, I received an award for my work on behalf of consumers by President Ronald Regan and the U.S. Office of Consumer Affairs. I was also nominated as Loan Officer of the Year by the Illinois Association of Mortgage Professionals several times.
